Sofronie Foundation was established in January 2007 with the aim of making a difference to young people’s lives and has historically funded projects all over the world.
In recent times, the Foundation has centred more focus on tackling disadvantage and improving social mobility closer to home and funds educational initiatives and aspirational programmes in France, the Netherlands and the UK.
Sofronie's main goal is to help young people by offering them the opportunities with which they can improve their employment chances – benefitting both their own lives and the lives of their future families.

We fund a number of educational programmes for young people that raise aspirations, build confidence and develop skills in preparation for university.

Codam
Sofronie Foundation supports and funds the project to bring technical learning opportunities to many deserving young people in Amsterdam. The full-time course is free and does not require diplomas or degrees to apply. Using the ground-breaking curriculum and educational model of the successful French school “Ecole 42”, the unique learning method encourages peer to peer learning.
Working without any teachers, you will manage your own learning by following a programme of gamified challenges and work together with your peers to find solutions to progress through the syllabus. Read More.
Tumo
The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is a free education program for teenagers aged 12–18 specializing in technology and design, with education being provided at various TUMO centers and hubs.
The first TUMO center opened in Yerevan, Armenia in 2011 and additional centers opened outside of Armenia in Paris, Beirut, Moscow, Tirana, Berlin, Mannheim, Lyon, Marseille, Zurich, Kyiv, Coimbra, Lisbon, Buenos Aires and Los Angeles. Read More.
